Bought this as a backup for our camping holidays and honestly it's better than expected. The windproof material really does make a difference, and it's nice to have something you can deploy quickly in an emergency.
Brilliant piece of kit for camping trips. We took it on a weekend hike and the waterproofing held up perfectly during a sudden downpour. Really compact when packed down too.
Grabbed one for emergency preparedness and used it on a couple of bush camping trips. Dead reliable, waterproof as advertised, and the thermal layer actually works. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend.
Solid bivy shelter, keeps you dry and the thermal lining does help retain warmth. Only thing is it's a touch snug if you're both moving around inside, but that's probably expected for something this portable.
Great emergency shelter for my bushwalking pack. Lightweight and doesn't take up much space, but gives genuine peace of mind knowing we've got proper protection if things go pear-shaped out there.
Perfect for overnight hiking with my mate. We stayed dry through some pretty rough weather and it packed down smaller than I thought it would. Genuinely impressed with the quality.
Really good shelter for the price. Wind protection is excellent and it kept us warm on a chilly night out. Material does feel like it could be slightly thicker, but nothing major for a portable bivy.
Does the job but the zips are a bit fiddly to operate when you're wearing gloves. Works fine for emergencies though, and the waterproofing is legit. Just wish it was slightly easier to get in and out of quickly.
